Indigo Airlines has brought good news for passengers traveling between India and United Arab Emirates. The company has issued a statement that flights will resume from 1:30 pm today (August 19, Thursday) midnight. Actually, earlier IndiGo flights were banned for letting passengers go without PCR test.
The company has issued a statement saying, ‘IndiGo will resume flights between India and UAE from 1.30 am IST (August 20). We have informed all our passengers and are sorry for the inconvenience. Ticket prices from New Delhi to Dubai have reached between Dh1000 to Dh1500. At the same time, the ticket price between Mumbai-Dubai has exceeded Dh1800. Important for travelers going from India to UAE:
- Valid COVID-19 negative result certificate with QR code linked to the original report. The sample should have been taken within 48 hours from the departure of the flight and the test was done from the lab approved by ICMR.
- Rapid PCR test report based on molecular diagnostic testing and detection of nucleic acid of viral RNA of SARS-COV-2. This has to be done 4 hours before departure at the airport in India.
