Washington, Aug 24 (PTI) The coronavirus is more likely to spread through contact with an infected animal at an animal market in Wuhan, China, a team of global scientists says. The team said that there is little chance that the virus spread due to an accident in a laboratory. In an article published in the journal ‘Cell’, 21 scientists from around the world presented evidence about the cause of the beginning of the epidemic. Stephen Goldstein, an author of the article and a scientist at the University of Utah Health, US, said the discussion on the origins of the pandemic had become politicized and felt it was the right time to look at all the available evidence.
