Washington, Aug 22 (PTI) US President Joe Biden will hold a digital meeting with the leaders of the G7 member states on August 24 to discuss closer coordination on Afghanistan policy. This information was given by White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Sunday. “President Joe Biden may hold a digital meeting with other leaders of the G7 countries on August 24,” Psaki said in a statement. These leaders continue their close coordination on Afghanistan policy and help our citizens, the brave Afghans and other vulnerable people who have stood by us over the past two decades.

The meeting will follow Biden’s phone calls this week with G7 leaders — British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi.
