The company said today that the price of selected models is being increased by around Rs 34,000 due to rising input costs. This new price will be applicable across the country from today.

It is said that the company has taken this decision due to the increase in input cost in making vehicles. How much the price has gone up: Let me tell you that the largest car in the lineup of Maruti Suzuki is the Maruti Alto 800, which had a starting price of Rs 2.99 lakh so far. According to media reports, the price of this car has been increased by around Rs 14,000. At the same time, the price of Maruti S-Presso has also been increased by Tk 7,000.


In addition, the price of Breza and Celerio has gone up to Rs 14,400, Rs 10,000 and Rs 19,400 respectively. The price of one of the company’s best-selling hatchbacks, the Maruti WagonR, has been increased from Rs 2,500 to Rs 23,200, which varies according to the variant.

At the same time, the price of Maruti Swift has been increased by around Rs 30,000 and that of Desire by Rs 12,500. The price of the company’s only MPV Maruti Artigar has been increased to Rs 34,000.
