On the occasion, Birla said that India’s democracy has been consistently strong and prosperous over the past seven decades. Birla further said that the maturity of our democracy is also evident from the fact that the change of power has always taken place in comfort and in accordance with the traditions of democracy.

Talking about his contribution to youth and nation building, Birla said that the former youth of democracy had left the country and become independent. Likewise today, the youth must work actively to take India forward on the path of prosperity and progress. Birla said that the youth need to contribute in this work to take the country to new heights. This is their responsibility as well as their responsibility. He further said that during the Mann Ki Baat program in 2013, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a new direction to the youth working to take the country forward on the path of progress through innovation and new thinking in various fields. Mr. Birla further said that in a democracy we share our thoughts and experiences. They debate and discuss and come to a conclusion after extensive discussion. This is the strength of the democratic system that gives everyone the right to express their views. He hoped that the Youth Parliament would play an important role in empowering democracy through the Nation First resolution.

Birla exchanged views with rival young leaders at the end of 2021 of the National Youth Parliament and encouraged them. Birla directed the Lok Sabha Secretariat to inform these young participants about the work of Parliament so that they can better understand the effectiveness of democracy.
