‘Working Islamic Agenda in South Asia’; Manish Tawari’s question on the killing of Hindus from Kashmir to Bangladesh


From targeted killing of non-Muslims in Jammu and Kashmir to atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh, Congress MP Manish Tewari’s reaction has come. On Sunday, Congress leader Manish Tewari said that a big Islamic agenda is working in South Asia. Manish Tewari questioned the connection between infiltration in Kashmir, killing of non-Muslims and atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh.

Manish Tewari tweeted, ‘He said, ‘Is there any link between the killings of non-Muslims in Kashmir, the killing of Hindus in Bangladesh and the martyrdom of 9 jawans in Poonch? is perhaps. There is a big Islamic agenda at work in South Asia.

This statement of the Congress leader comes at a time when terrorists shot dead two non-Kashmiris in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday. On Saturday, two non-locals were shot dead by terrorists in separate incidents in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar and Pulwama districts. Sagir Ahmed (56) was shot dead in Pulwama district and Arvind Kumar Sah (30), a resident of Bihar’s Banka district, was shot outside the park near Idgah in Srinagar on Saturday evening.


Besides this, the intensive search operation being conducted in the forest areas of Poonch and Rajouri districts to trace the terrorists involved in the killing of seven Army jawans in Jammu and Kashmir continued for the sixth day on Saturday with a Junior Commissioned Officer. (JCO) including two soldiers were martyred. With the death of two jawans, so far nine soldiers have been martyred in the operation that started on Monday in the Surankote forest of Poonch. Later this campaign spread to Mendhar in Poonch and Thanamandi in Rajouri.
