‘Will bite the tongue’… Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao warns BJP leaders

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Sunday lashed out at BJP state president Bandi Sanjay, calling the promise of buying paddy crop from the state’s farmers a hoax. During this, the CM even told the BJP leaders in a warning tone that they should refrain from talking petty things, otherwise they will cut off their tongue.

KCR said that the central government has made it clear that it is not going to buy paddy and the Agriculture Minister has also asked the farmers to opt for another crop.

“I directly met the concerned Union Minister and asked him to get the boiled rice procured from the farmers. He said that he will take a decision and tell me, but till now I did not get any reply. The state of Telangana already has about 5 lakh tonnes of paddy lying around since last year. The Center is not buying it.

Taking an attacking stand on BJP state president, KCR said, “Centre is saying that it will not buy paddy crop and in the state BJP is saying that it will buy.” Avoid petty things. We will cut off your (state BJP leaders) tongues if you speak rudely about us.

KCR said, ‘Sanjay said that he will send me to jail. I challenge them to touch me. Taking a dig at the BJP on the issue of farmers, KCR said that he is with the farmers opposing the three agriculture laws of the central government.

KCR also asked the central government to withdraw the cess on petrol and diesel. He said that the central government is lying on the price of petrol and diesel. In the year 2014, the price of crude oil was $105 and now it has come down to $83. BJP is lying to the public that the prices of petrol and diesel are increasing in foreign countries.
