The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri said that KCR is messing with Prime Minister Narendra Modi which means his political death is near. He said that when the jackal’s death comes, he runs towards the city.

On Monday, Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao had slammed the Modi government for calling it “anti-national” and questioned the election promises made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on employment.

In response on Tuesday, BJP MP from Nizamabad in Telangana Arvind Dharmapuri hit out at him, saying, “When the death of a jackal comes, it runs towards the city.” Dharmapuri said, “The time has come for KCR’s political death, so he is ‘panga’ with Modi and is lying to the Modi government.”

Let us tell you that the ruling Telangana Rashtriya Samithi (TRS) had to face defeat in its stronghold Huzurabad in the recent by-elections. Since then Telangana BJP and Chief Minister KCR have been face-to-face.

KCR’s former ally and BJP candidate Eatala Rajender secured 1,06,780 votes in the Huzurabad bypoll. TRS’s Gelu Srinivas Yadav got 82,712 votes in this seat. The BJP, which was till now the new political party in Telangana, has raised KCR’s concern by winning the TRS bastion. BJP believes that anti-incumbency wave is increasing in the state.

After the defeat in the bypolls, CM K Chandrashekhar Rao had hit out at the BJP and threatened to “slit the tongue” of BJP leaders if they spoke nonsense. BJP leaders had also reacted sharply to his comments.
