At the same time, according to the Regional Meteorological Center of Chennai, thunderstorm accompanied with one or two places at one or two places in Puducherry and Kraikkal districts of Villupuram, Cuddalore, Kallakurichi, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Namakkal, Perambalur, Ariyalur and Salem districts in the next 3 hours. With it there is a possibility of rain.

In view of the heavy rains and waterlogging at places, the Chennai airport authorities have postponed the arrival of the aircraft from 13.15 am to 6 pm. Passengers are also facing a lot of difficulties due to the closure of the arrival of planes at the airport. However, permission has been given to fly from the airport.
