In Lakhimpur, there is a difference of opinion in the party in the matter of farmers being crushed by the car of BJP leaders in the past. Now the party’s leader and former MLA Ram Iqbal Singh has told the hand of Union Minister Ajay Mishra in this matter. Ram Iqbal Singh called Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra as the architect of the Lakhimpur incident and demanded the immediate sacking of him by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Singh, while talking to the media in Nagra area of Ballia, has blamed Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra for the Lakhimpur incident.
“The threatening statement given by the Union Minister of State for Home a few days before the incident has only added fuel to the fire,” he said. The Minister of State for Home should have apologized to the farmers, but he was busy defending his son. Singh, a member of the Uttar Pradesh BJP Working Committee and a former MLA, said, “The son of the Minister of State for Home rammed the farmers with a car. He was arrested only after the intervention of the Supreme Court, but Mishra is still in the minister’s chair. In such a situation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi should sack him immediately. For not doing so, questions are also being raised about Narendra Modi.
Said- The condition of BJP workers has become like indentured laborers in the party
In response to a question, he said that the BJP government has been ‘gritty’ due to the Lakhimpur incident and the businessman’s murder in Gorakhpur. He said that BJP workers have also been killed in the Lakhimpur incident. The government should also take care of them. He claimed that the workers across the state are agitated due to the apathy of the government on this incident. The former MLA said that the condition of dedicated party workers in BJP has become like an indentured labourer. Singh has been critical of the government in the past as well.
