Tripura CM Biplab Deb said on the attacks in Bangladesh – there is a conspiracy to damage the relations between the two countries


Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has termed the attack on a religious place of minorities in Bangladesh as part of a bigger conspiracy. He said on Tuesday that by doing so, an attempt is being made to damage the friendly relations between India and Bangladesh.

Speaking to the media in Agartala, Biplab Deb further said that both India and Bangladesh share cordial relations for a long time. The fundamentalists have conspired to spoil the relationship. We are confident that Bangladesh administration will take strict action regarding such incidents. He called the attacks on minorities painful and shameful.

Deb told the conspiracy of radical forces

Deb said the Bangladesh administration has arrested some people for their involvement in the violence and that they have links with alleged radical organisations. Deb said that this is a conspiracy of radical forces hatched through attacks on religious and cultural institutions in Bangladesh during Durga Puja.


Bangladesh borders Tripura

The civil society of Tripuri has also demanded protection for religious minorities in Bangladesh and the arrest of the perpetrators of the violence. Explain that Tripura shares an 856 km long international border with Bangladesh. The violence began on October 15 when hundreds of people protested in Bangladesh’s Noakhali district over alleged insults to the Quran.
