Earlier, after the arrest of Raju, Additional DCP (West Delhi) Prashant Gautam had told that the investigation so far has revealed that Harpreet was the mastermind of this murder and he was planning the whole thing. His plan was going on for about 45 days that he would call the Wazir to Delhi and finish it. Raju Ganja was also fully involved in this conspiracy. Earlier he used to work as a driver in Mumbai, came on 14th August and lived with Harpreet. These 4 people planned and killed Trilochan Singh Wazir. Harmeet was also staying at Harpreet’s house. Harmeet had fired from his current statement.

Significantly, the body of 67-year-old Trilochan Singh Wazir was found on September 9 in a rotten condition in the washroom of the flat in Basai Darapur area. His head was wrapped in plastic. His acquaintance Harpreet Singh (31) had taken this flat on rent. Police said that Wazir had come to Delhi on September 2 and had been living with Harpreet Singh and his friend Harmeet Singh since then. Both Harpreet and Harmeet are absconding and several teams have been formed to trace them.

Wazir’s brother claimed that Jammu resident Wazir had to take a flight to Canada on September 2 to meet his family. When there was no news of him for several days, his family informed the Jammu Police which contacted the Delhi Police. After this, the Delhi Police had also received a complaint on Thursday 9 September about foul smell from a flat in Moti Nagar. After reaching the spot, when the police opened the door, they found a dead body in a decomposed condition in the toilet.
