The Congress has fixed the CWC meeting next week to resolve the ongoing tussle in Punjab and Chhattisgarh. Discussion on the post of National President of Congress is also possible in this meeting. However, before this meeting, a statement by Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has stirred up the discussion that everything is not well in Rajasthan too. Addressing a by-election rally in Udaipur’s Vallabhnagar Assembly, 400 km from Jaipur on Friday, Gehlot said that only those who have patience get opportunities. Let us inform that former state president Sachin Pilot was also with him in the stage. The quarrel between these two is not hidden from anyone.
Sharing the stage with former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday said that opportunities come for those who wait. Addressing the by-election rally in Vallabhnagar assembly, Gehlot said that there are many contenders for this seat but only one was to be given ticket, who is the rightful owner of this seat.
According to the Indian Express, while addressing the gathering, Gehlot had said that he is the true soldier of the party, so keep working for the party with dedication without the lust of tickets. Gehlot further said, “Once I heard from Sonia Gandhi that only those who are patient get opportunities.” Sometimes news comes in newspapers, but don’t go by those news, because sometimes they write stories to make up.
Earlier, CM Gehlot and the pilot boarded the same helicopter and reached Vallabhgarh from Jaipur. During this, he was accompanied by state in-charge Ajay Maken and state president Govind Singh Dotasra. Then everyone came in a car from Vallabhgarh to the platform. During this, the pilot held the steering and CM Gehlot was riding next to him. The message was clear that all is well in the Rajasthan Congress.
While addressing the gathering in Vallabhgarh, Sachin Pilot made many allegations against the BJP. Said that when BJP was in power, it cheated the people. Now that they are in opposition, they are not able to fulfill that responsibility properly. Earlier on Thursday, Pilot had commented on CM Ashok Gehlot’s statement during the release of a book. Said that “if he lives for 15 to 20 more years, by then he will be 50 years old.”
Please tell that Gehlot had said that “Nothing will happen to me for 15 to 20 years. Now if someone has to be sad, it is not in my hands. But nothing will happen to me.”
