A bull remained the center of attraction in the Krishi Mela held in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. The reason for this is that the price of this bull is Rs 1 crore and it is only 3.5 years old. The name of this bull is Krishna and there was a crowd of people watching it and buyers. Bull owner Boregowda says that Krishna is a bull of Hallikar breed and its semen is in highest demand.
According to news agency ANI, a Hallikar breed bull named Krishna is one of the main attractions at Krishi Mela 2021 in Bengaluru and there is a great demand for its semen. Rare breed of bull is known as mother breed in South India and it is becoming extinct.
Speaking to ANI, the owner Borgegowda said that Krishna is 3.5 years old Hallikar breed. Nowadays, the Halikar breed is becoming extinct. Hallikar is the mother breed for all indigenous breeds. We have established a semen bank of Hallikar breed. Where we sell a semen stick for Rs 1,000.

He further said that to the best of my knowledge, no one has created a semen bank of Hallikar breed in Malavalli of Mandya district. We have installed it privately. We draw semen from Krishna 8 times in a month. We make 300 seamstress sticks at a time. With this, you can earn about 24 lakh rupees in a month.
He said that we have set up a semen center in other districts like Davangere, Ramanagara, Chikmagalur etc and we are also opening a center in Dasarahalli in Bengaluru. Farmers who want to buy semen of Hallikar breed can buy it at nearby centers. He said that Krishna weighs around 1 tonne and the demand for her semen is high.
