In Sangramur district of Punjab, the body of a woman named Baljit Kaur was found hanging from a rock, along with the body of her four-and-a-half-year-old daughter lying on her bed.
A woman and her two daughters have committed suicide in Sangrur, Punjab. The woman’s father-in-law has been accused of harassing her for having two daughters, which is why the incident took place. Police have filed a case against his mother-in-law and father-in-law and have launched an investigation. The incident took place in Soro village of Sangrur district. When the bodies of two girls and their mother were found in a house, unrest spread in the village. The body of woman Baljit Kaur was hanging from the fan. The body of Baljit Kaur’s four-and-a-half-year-old daughter was lying on their bed. According to the investigation, Baljit Kaur has committed suicide.
Family members of the girl complained that good offers harassed Baljit because he had two daughters. They scolded him for not being a boy. Police who arrived at the scene after the incident also received a suicide note stating that no one was responsible for his death. According to the DSP of the collection, a case has been filed against Baljit’s mother-in-law and father-in-law over the statement of Baljit’s brother Jagdev Singh.
