Former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has started showing his attitude as soon as the new CM is elected in Punjab by the Congress. On one hand he has congratulated the newly elected Chief Minister, Charanjit Singh Channi, while on the other he has also played the Kisan card. Captain Amarinder Singh said on Sunday evening that I had not been able to give job cards to the families of 150 farmers who lost their lives during the agitation against agricultural laws. I am very sad about this. He said that I hope that Charanjit Singh Channi will complete this work at the earliest. Along with this, he said that I will stand with the farmers in their fight for justice.
Captain Amarinder Singh’s media advisor Raveen Thukral has tweeted this quoting him. Earlier, Captain Amarinder Singh had congratulated Channi on being elected as the CM. While congratulating Channi, the former CM said that I hope that he will be able to give security to Punjab. The veteran leader said, ‘My best wishes are with Charanjit Singh Channi. I hope he will be able to keep a border state like Punjab safe. In addition, they will be able to keep people safe amidst new security threats. He said that there has always been a security threat from across the border in Punjab.
Rebel attitude was shown only after resignation, said- ‘I was humiliated’

Along with this, while targeting the party high command, he had said that perhaps he had lost faith in me. Captain Amarinder Singh said that I am humiliated by the manner in which the meeting of MLAs has been called thrice in the last two months. Not only this, Captain Amarinder Singh had also indicated to leave the Congress and take a different path. After his resignation, he said that future options are open to me.
