Suspense of Punjab Congress continues, Rahul-Priyanka Gandhi brought angry Sunil Jakhar to Delhi in his flight

Despite Charanjit Singh Channi being made the Chief Minister, the suspense about the Punjab Congress seems to be intact. Former Punjab Congress President Sunil Jakhar, who is angry, met Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi on Wednesday. Not only this, Jakhar has also come to Delhi by plane along with Rahul-Priyanka. Speculations have flared up again after Jakhar, who had expressed his displeasure over the political developments in Punjab, suddenly met Rahul and Priyanka.

Following the resignation of Captain Amarinder Singh, he was leading the list of future Chief Ministers. However, Charanjit Singh Channi won. After this Sunil Jakhar openly expressed his displeasure. Let us tell you that Sunil Jakhari was holding this post before Navjot Singh Sidhu was made the President of Punjab Congress.

Sources said that Rahul and Priyanka had returned from Shimla and both boarded a flight from Chandigarh to Delhi on Wednesday evening. Jakhar also accompanied him on this journey. It is believed that Jakhar has been brought to Delhi to pacify him so that his rhetoric does not harm the party. Apart from this, soon he can be given a new responsibility. Jakhar’s name is already being considered as the chairman of the party’s election campaign committee.

According to reports, Jakhar had also received an offer to become Deputy Chief Minister in Charanjit Singh Channi’s government but he turned it down. On Monday, Jakhar also attacked senior party leader Ambika Soni in gestures. Ambika Soni had given a statement that the CM of Punjab should be a Sikh leader. Earlier, Jakhar had also criticized Harish Rawat’s statement in which he had allegedly said that the upcoming elections in Punjab would be fought under the leadership of Navjot Singh Sidhu.

However, later the Congress party itself clarified this statement and said that the next election in Punjab would be fought under the leadership of both Channi and Sidhu.
