Corona virus has created a ruckus in Kerala. More than 20 thousand corona cases are being seen here almost every day. Meanwhile, the government of Pinarayi Vijayan has given permission to reopen shops in malls from 11th August i.e. today. These shops will have to follow the Corona guidelines like other shops and commercial establishments. This order to open shops will come into effect from today.
As per the government order, the officers posted at the mall’s entry gate will have to follow all COVID-19-related norms to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The authorities will have to ensure that everyone entering the mall is wearing a mask, given hand sanitizer and checking their temperature. Along with this, those coming will also have to take full care of social distance.
According to the guidelines issued by the state government last Wednesday, shops, markets, banks, offices, factories, tourist places and other, financial, commercial and industrial establishments in Kerala can currently open six days a week from Monday to Saturday. Huh.
Kerala Health Minister Veena George said, “Weekend lockdown will be imposed only on Sundays. Shop hours will be from 7 am to 9 pm for six days a week; maximum 20 persons will be allowed in weddings and funerals.” “
Kovid-19 cases in Kerala have been rising in recent weeks, with the test positivity rate here on Tuesday being the highest in three months. Corona cases coming to Kerala account for more than 50 percent of the cases across the country. Yesterday, 21,119 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Kerala and the test positivity rate reached 15.91. Apart from this, the government has also warned of imposing a ‘triple lockdown’ if there is a sudden increase in the number of cases in any area.
