Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrale has submitted a report to Maharashtra Home Department regarding the reinstatement of Sachin Waze and his nine-month tenure at the Mumbai CIU of the Crime Branch.
This report submitted by the Mumbai Police states, ‘Sachin Vaje was posted to the Crime Intelligence Unit following oral instructions from the then Police Commissioner Parambir Singh. Sachin Vaje was reporting directly to Parambir Singh, bypassing several other officials. Let me tell you that Sachin Waze has been arrested for his suspected role in Mansukh Hiren’s death case and Antilia case and is currently in NIA custody till 7 April.

What did Parambir Singh accuse Deshmukh
Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh has sensationally accused Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. He had written a letter to the Chief Minister of the state, Uddhav Thackeray, saying that Home Minister Anil Deshmukh had asked Sachin Vaje to raise Rs 100 crore every month. In a letter to CM Thackeray, Parambir Singh has alleged that Anil Deshmukh had asked Sachin Waje to collect Rs 100 crore each month from bars, restaurants and other establishments.
Here, former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh appeared before the NIA on Wednesday to record his statement in the case of an SUV found near the house of industrialist Mukesh Ambani. Explosive material was found in this SUV. An official said that Singh reached the office of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in south Mumbai at around 9.30 am by car.
Parambir Singh was removed from the post of Mumbai Police Commissioner last month after the SUV was recovered near Ambani’s house on 25 February and then the murder of Thane businessman Mansukh Hiren. Explosion material was found in this SUV. Singh currently holds the post of Director General of Home Guards. Sources said that NIA summoned Singh to record his statement in the case.
The NIA arrested Assistant Police Inspector Sajin Waje last month for his alleged role in parking the vehicle near Ambani’s house in South Mumbai. He also arrested suspended police constable Vinayak Shinde and cricket bookie Naresh Gore in connection with the murder of Mansukh Hiren. Hiren’s body was found on March 5 at Mumbra Creek in Thane.
