The commission chairperson said that threats against Virat Kohli and daughter of Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma are very shameful and those making threats must be punished. The president said that “the team has made us proud a thousand times, then why this folly in this defeat?”
The Women’s Commission has asked in the notice sent to the Delhi Police that if no accused has been arrested in the case, then please tell what steps are being taken for the arrest of the accused? The commission has asked the Delhi Police to provide the information by November 8.
