Paras Singh alias Bunty, popular on YouTube and social media, was arrested from Ludhiana in Punjab on Tuesday. Bunty, who runs a channel called Paras on YouTube, is accused of making racist remarks against the Arunachal Pradesh Congress MLA and making objectionable things about the state.
In a video on his YouTube channel, Paras Singh on Sunday called Congress MLA Ninong Ering a non-Indian and apparently Arunachal Pradesh as part of China. The video offended people living in other parts of the country, including Arunachal. However, by posting another video on Monday, Paras apologized for his comments.

Social media should be used carefully and any violation will be taken as per law. State Deputy Chief Minister Chhovna Main said that he was shocked and very disappointed to see the YouTube post, which not only questioned the nationality of the Arunachal Pradesh legislator, but also questioned the existence of the Indian state.
Actually, Congress MLA Ering had written a letter to PM Modi demanding a ban on the relaunch of PUBG Mobile in India as Battlegrounds Mobile India. Paras said objectionable things to the MLA about this issue. Pasighat East MLA has said that he will file a case against Paras Singh. The All-Arunachal Pradesh Students Union (AAPSU) has issued a note saying that the people of the state are hurt by these comments.
