PM Narendra Modi gave this homework to those who got the benefit of PM Awas Yojana in UP

PM Narendra Modi, who reached Lucknow to participate in the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav program and inaugurate many other projects, gave home work to the beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana in the state. While addressing the program, PM Narendra Modi said, ‘Now when I have come to Uttar Pradesh, I feel like giving some homework too. I have heard that in this Diwali, 7 and a half lakh diyas are being organized in Ayodhya. I ask UP to come to the ground for lights. I say that the 9 lakh houses which have been given to the urban poor, they should light 18 lakh diyas. They should light two lamps outside their house. This will make Lord Rama happy.

During this, PM Narendra Modi patted the Center and the UP government fiercely for the success of PM Awas Yojana. He said that today the number of pucca houses that India is building under PM Awas Yojana is more than the total population of many countries of the world. There was a time when it used to take years from the approval of the house to getting it off the ground. The question also arose on whether the houses that were built were even fit for living or not. He said, “The government in this country before 2014 had sanctioned only 13 lakh houses under the urban housing scheme. In this too only 8 lakhs were made. Since 2014, our government has approved the construction of more than 1 crore 13 lakh houses in cities under PM Awas Yojana. Now you understand where 13 lakhs and where 1 crore 13 lakhs. Out of these, 50 lakh houses have been built and handed over to the poor.

During this, PM Narendra Modi said that till now we have transferred about one lakh crore rupees in the bank accounts of the poor under PM Awas Yojana Urban. He said that the energy they spend day and night against me, they will fall on me. Still, I will say this to you guys. He said that in this one tenure of ours, 3 crore people have got a chance to become Lakhpati. It is a big deal for three crore families of the country to become a millionaire. If you take out the cost of three crore houses built in the country under PM Awas Yojana, then you will know that today they are millionaires. Praising the Yogi government, PM Modi said that since his arrival in UP, more than 9 lakh houses have been given to the urban poor. Apart from this, 14 lakh houses are about to be found.

Atal Chair will be in Lucknow University, former PM remembered

PM Narendra Modi said that Lucknow has given a visionary national hero to the country in the form of Atal ji. Today Atal Chair is being established in Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University in his memory. There were many turning points in India’s long foreign policy, but Atal ji gave it a new direction. On one hand he started PM Gram Sadak Yojana and on the other hand he also worked for Golden Quadrilateral. Years ago, when he talked about connecting the metros of the country through highways, people could not believe it. Similarly, 6 years ago when I talked about missions like optic fiber, PM Awas Yojana, Digital India, similar questions were raised.
