At 4 pm, he will lay the foundation stone for various infrastructure projects in Coimbatore at a cost of Rs 12 thousand 400 crore.
According to information received from the news, PM Modi will dedicate to the nation the minister Nyveli new thermal power project in Tamil Nadu. Two units of the plant will produce 1 thousand MW of electricity.
Who will benefit from the plant
It is being told that Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Puducherry will also benefit from this plant. Tamil Nadu will have 65 per cent share in electricity. PM Narendra Modi will also lay the foundation stone of a 5 MW solar power plant connected to the grid at the VO Chidambaranar Port during his visit to Tamil Nadu.
