Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Lucknow today to pay his tributes at the mortal remains of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh. After this, while talking to the media, he said that today we have lost a capable leader. We should try our best to compensate them by taking their values and resolves. We should leave no stone unturned to fulfill their dreams.

Former UP Chief Minister Kalyan Singh passed away on Saturday evening. He breathed his last on Saturday evening at the age of 89. He had been ill for several days. In view of Kalyan Singh’s health, he was first admitted to Lohia Hospital. On July 4, when his condition deteriorated again, he was shifted to PGI from here.
The Chief Minister said that his last rites would be performed on Monday, 23 August in Aligarh. This day will be a public holiday. On Sunday, the body of Kalyan Singh will be kept for darshan at the Vidhan Bhavan and later in the BJP office. His body will be taken to Aligarh at 2 pm, where the funeral will be held on August 23 on the banks of the Ganges.

Condoling the death of Kalyan Singh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the society would continue to be inspired by remembering Kalyan Singh for his epoch-making decisions, conscientiousness and clean life for centuries.
