Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Tamil Nadu national co-in-charge Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Thursday said he does not know how Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao commented on China, but when it comes to national security, the Prime Minister Minister Narendra Modi knows how to give a befitting reply.
Reddy said, “I don’t know how KCR talked about China’s occupation of Arunachal Pradesh. Be it Pakistan or China in terms of national security, PM Modi knows how to give a befitting reply. India has We have already proved that we are giving retaliation to countries involved in terrorism.”
Reddy further alleged that KCR was speaking out of desperation as BJP candidate Eatala Rajender had won the by-election to the Huzurabad assembly seat.
He said, “The way Eatala Rajender won the seat in Huzurabad after spending crores of rupees of KCR, now in desperation he is speaking whatever he wants. As an Indian, every citizen of the country has to be in the best interest of the country. One should speak up. Especially when the matter is related to armed forces or security forces, then everyone should increase the confidence of the armed forces.”
“It is not right on the part of the Chief Minister to speak all this for vote bank politics, to divert the cause of the people. KCR should withdraw his point immediately,” the BJP leader said.
Earlier Telangana CM had said, “China is attacking us in Arunachal Pradesh but the Center has not taken any action. We were silent till now, thinking that it is better to let dogs bark, but now we are not silent.” Will continue. Legal action will be initiated.”
