Railway Board Chairman VK Yadav said that the maintenance of 70 new trains will start from September 10, which will be in addition to the 230 trains already in operation.
Railway Board Chairman VK Yadav said on Saturday that from 12 September 80 new trains (Train) will run. Reservations for this will start from 10 September. He said the notification regarding the train would be issued later. He said, “80 new special trains or 40 pairs of trains will start from September 12. Reservations for it will start from September 10. These trains will be connected to 230 already running trains.
Yadav said the railways would monitor all the trains currently running and find out which trains have a long waiting list.
“Whenever a special train is required, wherever the waiting list is l ong, we will run the same (clone) train after the main train so that passengers can travel there,” the railway board chairman said.
The Rajdhani Express has to run 535 km on a single journey as the railway is helpless in front of Meyer Jade.
Yadav further said that the railways will operate the train after receiving requests from the states for testing or any other purpose.
