On Children’s Day, children will run Rajasthan’s assembly, MLA, speaker and leader of opposition will work


On the initiative of Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Dr. CP Joshi, on November 14, Children’s Day, for the first time in the country, children’s session will be organized in the state assembly, in which children will ask questions and debate in the house. In this session, the assembly session will be conducted by the children and the children will become the Speaker, Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition and this future generation of the country will sit in the house and debate on the issues related to the people.

Children will play the role of MLA, Speaker and Opposition in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly on Children’s Day. In the role of MLA, children will ask the ministers for their answers by asking questions and will also give their point of view in zero hour. Rajasthan Legislative Assembly will be the first such assembly in the country where children’s session will be organized.


On this occasion Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Assembly Speaker Dr. C.P. Members of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly including Joshi, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Leader of Opposition Gulab Chand Kataria will witness the children’s session conducted by the children.

Children’s session will be conducted under the aegis of Rajasthan branch of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association. Dr. Joshi said that future generations have been given the opportunity to run the House, ask questions and express their views with discipline. Children are getting ready to enter the house. Rehearsal to present the method of asking question, style of answering and functioning of MLAs in running the house. For this, children have prepared kurta pajamas.
