PM Narendra Modi, while addressing an election rally in Kokrajhar, Assam, launched a scathing attack on the Congress. He said that the Congress had longed the people of the state for basic things like water, electricity, gas and roads. He said that apart from the tea garden workers here, the NDA government has also worked hard for the development of women. He said that the people of Assam need to avoid the Mahajhutas. PM Narendra Modi said that there are no tribes from which the Congress has not betrayed. He said that Congress had dumped Assam in the path of bombs and guns.
PM Modi said that the work of medical college in Kokrajhar is going on fast. Apart from this, many more projects are in progress. The BJP has also tried to uphold the culture and identity of Bodoland. This is our responsibility and will always be engaged in this work. He said that due to the way violence was promoted in Assam, people showed him a red card. He said that the way in which there has been rapid development in Assam in the last 5 years, in the same way in the coming time the government of double engine will take the state forward.
He said that the government of Assam has worked by focusing on education, medicine, earning, irrigation. He said about the Bodo tribal community that we are committed to the development of Bodo society. He said that the Congress put its hand in the hands of people who had pushed Kokrajhar into the fold of violence. PM Modi said that the Congress is now dreaming of coming to power through those whom it had worked to save for its vote bank.
