Mayawati’s big announcement: BSP to contest Assembly elections in UP-Uttarakhand alone


BSP chief Mayawati announced that on her birthday, the Bahujan Samaj Party would contest the by-elections in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand alone.


Before next year’s Assembly elections (UP Assembly elections 2022), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati has made a big announcement in Uttar Pradesh. On Friday, BSP supremo and former chief minister Mayawati announced that the BSP would not ally with any political party in the Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand assembly elections and would contest all the seats themselves. Also, he said that if his party forms the government in UP, everyone will be given free coronavirus vaccine. Today is BSP chief Mayawati’s birthday.

According to ANI, Mayawati has said that the Bahujan Samaj Party will not form an alliance with any political party in the forthcoming Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The party will field independent candidates in all the seats.

Mayawati welcomed the government’s decision to launch the Kovid-19 vaccination program and urged the central and state governments to provide free coronavirus vaccine to all. He said that if the Bahujan Samaj Party government came to power in Uttar Pradesh, it would give free Covid-19 vaccine to everyone.
