Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the SKIMS Hospital in Srinagar on Sunday to inquire about the health of National Conference (NC) President Farooq Abdullah, who is undergoing treatment for Kovid-19. Manoj Sinha met Abdullah’s son and NC vice-president Omar Abdullah at the hospital and instructed the doctors of SKIMS hospital to provide best treatment to Abdullah, MP from Srinagar.
The Lieutenant Governor’s Office tweeted, ‘In Srinagar, I met Omar Abdullah at SKIMS in Saura region. Farooq Abdullah Saheb got information about his health and instructed the doctors to provide best treatment, I wish him a long and healthy life. ‘

The Lt. Governor also offered to transfer Abdullah to another hospital for better monitoring and treatment. The Lieutenant Governor’s office tweeted, ‘I also offered to transfer Farooq Saheb, who is currently admitted to SKIMS, to another hospital for better monitoring and treatment’. Omar Abdullah thanked Sinha for coming to the hospital and offering to transfer his father and NC president to another hospital.
He said that his father is being provided the best possible treatment at SKIMS Hospital. Omar tweeted, ‘Thank you Manoj Sinha ji for coming to the hospital to get information about my father’s health. We are grateful to offer to transfer my father to another hospital. SKIMS Srinagar doctors and workers are among the best professionals and my father is being provided with the best possible treatment. ‘
Significantly, on Tuesday, 85-year-old Abdullah was confirmed to be infected with Corona virus. Initially, he was kept in isolation at home, but on Saturday, doctors decided to hospitalize him for better treatment.
