However, the steady increase in active cases remains a cause for concern. The increasing cases of corona in Kerala remain the largest contributor to the active cases and the total number of daily cases.
According to the latest data of the Ministry of Health, there are currently 3 lakh 68 thousand active patients of corona virus in the country, which is 1.13 percent of the total cases registered so far. There has also been a slight decline in the recovery rate and it is now 97.53 percent. In the last 24 hours, 35 thousand 840 patients of Corona have been cured. So far, a total of 3 crore 18 lakh 88 thousand 642 patients have recovered from Corona.
Kerala has increased the tension of third wave
More than 30 thousand cases of corona virus infection were reported in Kerala for the fourth consecutive day on Saturday, after which the total cases increased to 39,77,572. With this, the infection rate came down to 18.67 percent from 19.22 percent on August 27. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that 31,265 new cases of infection were reported in the state in the last one day and 153 more people died due to the epidemic, taking the death toll to 20,466.
The weekly infection rate has been below 3 per cent for 65 consecutive days. At the same time, the daily infection rate is also at 2.57 percent and it has remained below 3 percent for the last 34 days.
After making a record in vaccination, 63.09 crore doses of corona vaccine have been given in the country so far. At the same time, a total of 51.86 crore samples of Corona have been tested so far.
