Kairana, Meerut, Mathura… why Yogi increased the tour of West UP, will weaken the Tikait effect like this

Just before the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, CM Yogi Adityanath is doing a quick tour of the districts of West UP. He is inaugurating several development projects these days by visiting districts like Shamli, Mathura, Meerut and Ghaziabad. Not only this, in Shamli’s Kairana town, he had also met those who had fled, who have returned. In this episode, he reached Mathura on Wednesday and is on a visit to Meerut on Thursday. On Friday, he is coming to Ghaziabad, where he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate many important institutions including Garbage Factory, Auditorium. Although the matter does not seem to be limited to this, it also has deep political implications.

Raising the issue of migration in Kairana, giving edge to Hindutva in Mathura also indicates what the BJP and Yogi’s strategy is going to be for the upcoming assembly elections. According to political experts, the position of the BJP is considered strong in the areas of UP like Eastern UP, Bundelkhand and Awadh, but due to the farmers’ agitation in UP and the Lakhimpur incident, the party’s concerns seem to be increasing. It is believed that only to cut down on the deteriorating environment, Yogi increased his visit to the districts of western UP. Along with this, the support price of sugarcane has been increased to Rs.340. In this way, on the one hand, he is raising the issue of security by talking about an issue like migration. At the same time, he is also trying to help the farmers by increasing the sugarcane support price.

It is believed that these visits of Yogi Adityanath are an attempt to cut the effect of Rakesh Tikait and the farmers’ movement. In fact, the farmers movement seems to be mobilizing the Jat community against the BJP, while the votes of the Muslim community are also likely to go to the SP in large numbers. In such a situation, the Jat-Muslim alliance can once again emerge in western UP, which used to be the strength of parties like SP and RLD. In such a situation, the BJP wants to advance issues like Hindutva, security, development in comparison to the issues related to the farmers’ movement. With this, on one hand it will be able to make a dent in the strategy of SP-RLD, while on the other hand, the Jat fraternity is also preparing to share on the big vote.

The emergence of Jinnah’s genie also indicated, on which side will the electoral camel of politics sit?

The electoral camel of UP politics is currently taking a turn towards issues like Jinnah, Hindutva, security, goondaraj. Before Akhilesh Yadav, leaders like Jinnah, Nehru, Gandhi and Patel were named together. Then it was said on behalf of his colleague OP Rajbhar that if Jinnah was the first PM, the country would not have been divided. It is also clear that the SP also wants the same so that it can stop the division of Muslim votes and get a bigger share of it.
