Japan-Singapore passport is the most powerful in the world, Pakistan is at the bottom, see India’s global ranking

Japan and Singapore have the most powerful passports in the world. Pakistan and North Korea are at the bottom of this list. At the same time, Indian passports are ranked 90th along with Burkina Faso, Tajikistan. Passport holders from these countries can enter 58 countries without a visa. Henley & Partners has released its ranking of the world’s most powerful passports. The firm’s Henley Passport Index ranks all passports in the world according to the number of destinations their holders can visit without a visa. However, the index does not take into account the temporary travel restrictions imposed by the countries of the world due to Kovid-19.

Japan and Singapore top the Henley Passport Index with a visa-free score of 192. This means that passport holders of these two countries can travel to 192 countries without a visa. The passports of Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan and Yemen are the least powerful. The ranking is based on data analysis from the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Henley & Partners’ Global Mobility Report suggests that many countries in the South have eased restrictions to revive their economies, but rarely in the North.
