The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is all set to launch “Jyotirlinga Darshan Yatra Train” on Thursday to promote pilgrimage to four major ‘Jyotirlinga’ destinations in the country. It is expected that the operation of this train can start from Prayagraj Sangam station in Uttar Pradesh today. This train will take you on a pilgrimage of ten days in which many pilgrimage places will be visited. This package will be of 10 nights and 11 days, which will cost around 10 thousand rupees. It has been told that its booking will start from the beginning of the coming month.
Jyotirlinga temples are a devotional site dedicated to Lord Shiva across the country, while there are many sites in India and Nepal that are considered sacred, there are 12 major pilgrimage sites that devotees wish to visit. Out of these, Jyotirlinga Darshan train will facilitate travel to four Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar, Somnath and Nageshwar Jyotirlinga.
Not only this, along with this the train will also facilitate travel to Statue of Unity and Udaipur. Explain that the price of 10 nights and 11 days package has been kept at Rs 10,395 per person. According to IRCTC officials privy to the matter, bookings for the Jyotirlinga Darshan tourism package had already started earlier this month.
Apart from the four Jyotirlingas, pilgrims will also be taken to visit the Dwarkadhish Temple in Dwarka, the Bhent Dwarka Temple, the Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad and the Statue of Unity in Baroda. Along with these tourist spots, the train will also stop at Udaipur city, taking passengers to visit the City Palace and Maharana Pratap Memorial.
Pure vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided to the passengers on all days of the journey; Apart from this, local bus facility for visiting the site and staying in Dharamshalas etc. will also be provided by IRCTC and all these expenses are included in the cost of the ticket.
