India’s wait for the coronavirus vaccine is now over. The Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) has given final approval to the Serum Institute of India and the emergency use of India Biotech’s coronary vaccines. DCGI said this at a press conference on Sunday. India’s Drug Controller General V.G. Somani said the two companies had submitted trial run statistics and both had been approved for “limited use”.
