The country is going to achieve a big achievement in the war against Corona epidemic. The vaccination figure in India is going to cross 100 crores today and on this occasion, preparations are being made to celebrate across the country. So far, only China has vaccinated more than 100 crores in the world. So far, 75 percent of people over the age of 18 have been given the first dose of the vaccine. Whereas more than 31 percent people have been fully immunized. In the country, 55,29,44,021, 45 to 59 years, 26,87,65,110 and 16,98,24,308 people above 60 years have been vaccinated in the country.
Meanwhile, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Wednesday appealed to those eligible for vaccination to get vaccinated without delay and contribute to India’s historic vaccination journey. Mandaviya said that after administering 100 crore doses of vaccine, under the mission, we will ensure that those who have received the first dose also get a second dose so that their protection from Kovid-19 can be ensured. The central government said that the villages which have been 100% immunized should put up poster banners praising the key health workers in this campaign to celebrate the achievement of 100 crore doses.
Several events planned to celebrate
Several events have been planned to celebrate the 100 crore doses given under immunization in India. Mandaviya will release singer Kailash Kher’s song and audio-visual film from the Red Fort on the occasion of giving 100 crore doses in the country. Mandaviya tweeted that the country is close to making a vaccine century. To be a part of this golden opportunity, I appeal to the countrymen that those who are yet to be vaccinated, by getting vaccinated immediately, contribute in this historic golden vaccination journey of India.
Announcements will be made on planes, ships, metro and railway stations
SpiceJet will issue special uniforms at Delhi airport on Thursday on achieving 100 crore doses. Health Minister, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and SpiceJet Chief Managing Director Ajay Singh will be present on the occasion. Mandaviya had earlier said that when India achieves the milestone of 100 crore doses of vaccine, it will be announced on planes, ships, metro and railway stations. The joy of achieving this feat will also be celebrated in the central government hospitals in the city. According to the information received from the Kovin portal till 10.37 pm on Wednesday night, 99.7 crore doses of vaccine have been administered in the country.
Country’s largest Khadi tricolor to be hoisted at Red Fort
The largest Khadi tricolor in the country will be hoisted on Thursday at the Red Fort on completion of 100 crore doses given under the ongoing vaccination to protect against Kovid-19. Official sources said that the length of this tricolor is 225 feet and width is 150 feet and its weight is about 1,400 kg. He said that the same tricolor was hoisted in Leh on October 2 on Gandhi Jayanti.
