The ministry said the death toll in Corona had dropped to less than 60 in the past 24 hours, the lowest in nine months. In the last 24 hours, 12,0959 new cases have been registered and 11,605 have been recovered.
No deaths were reported in 17 states
61.07 per cent new cases of recovery after infection in six states and union territories. The highest number of infections was 5,942 in Kerala and 2,768 in Maharashtra. And 531 new cases have been found in Karnataka. In the last 24 hours, 78 more people died due to the infection. In five states and union territories, 69.23 per cent deaths occurred daily. In the last 24 hours, a maximum of 25 people were killed in Maharashtra. No deaths were reported in 17 states.
