New Delhi (Loksatya). The outbreak of the corona virus (Kovid-19) epidemic in the country is not taking its name and the number of active patients has crossed one million on Saturday. During the last 24 hours, 67,023 active cases increased to 10,46,631. The recovery rate in the country has come down partially to 90.80 percent and the rate of active cases has increased to 7.93 percent while the death rate has come down to 1.28 percent.
According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday morning, 1,45,384 new cases were registered in the country. With this, the number of infected has gone to one crore 32 lakh five thousand 926. At the same time, 77,567 patients have become healthy during this period, in which 1,19,90,859 patients have been coronated so far. Active cases have increased by 67,023 to 10,46,631. In the same period, with the death of 794 more patients, the number of people who died of this disease has increased to 1,68,436.
Maharashtra tops Corona's active cases and the state has increased its number of active cases by 13,301 to 5,36,063 during the last 24 hours. During this period, 45,391 more patients became healthy in the state, which together the number of those who beat Corona has reached 2695148 while the death toll has increased to 57329 with the death of 301 more patients.
In Chhattisgarh, in the last 24 hours, 8743 more active cases have increased to 76,868. In the state, 337156 people have become corona free while the death toll has risen to 4654 with 91 more patients dying of this epidemic infection. At the same time, according to population, active cases in the country's largest state Uttar Pradesh have increased to 8968 and 48306. 9039 people have died due to this epidemic and 606646 patients have become healthy so far. In the national capital Delhi, active cases have increased by 3450 to 26,631. So far, 11,196 people have died of this epidemic while 668699 patients have beaten the corona.
In Karnataka, the number of active cases of corona virus has increased to 4689 and 58,103. The death toll in the state has gone up to 12,813 and 977169 patients have been cured so far. In Kerala, the number of active cases increased from 2566 to 36502 during this period and 2475 patients recovered from health, the figure of those who beat Corona has increased to 11 lakh 12 thousand 758 while the death toll of 22 more patients has increased to 4750.
In Punjab, the number of active cases has increased by 830 to 27219 and the number of people getting rid of infection has increased to 231885 while 7390 patients have lost their lives. The number of active cases in Tamil Nadu has increased to 33659 and so far 12863 people have died. 874305 patients have become infection free in the state. In Madhya Pradesh, 2,426 active cases have increased to 30486 and 292598 people have become healthy so far while 4136 people have died due to this disease. In Gujarat, the number of active cases has increased to 22192 and 22692, and so far 4697 people have died. In the state, 309626 patients have been freed from infection. In Haryana, the number of active cases has increased to 18142 with an increase of 1013 cases during this period. 3241 people have died due to this disease and so far 289121 people have been cured of the disease.
In West Bengal, active cases of corona virus have increased to 18603 and 10378 people have died due to infection with this epidemic. So far, 577474 people have recovered in the state. Active cases have increased to 17791 in Telangana and 1752 people have died while 304548 people have recovered from the epidemic. Cases active in Andhra Pradesh have reached 16422. In the state, the number of people who beat the corona virus has reached 894896 while 7279 people have lost their lives. In Bihar, 1853 cases have increased to 9358 active cases. In the state, 1598 people have died due to corona virus while 265048 patients have become healthy.
