New Delhi (Loksatya). The outbreak of Corona Virus (Kovid-19) epidemic in the country is not taking its name and for the second consecutive day, the number of new cases has crossed 1.25 lakh and during the last 24 hours, 69,289 active cases have increased to 9,79,608. The recovery rate in the country has come down partially to 91.22 per cent and the rate of active cases has increased to 7.50 per cent, while the death rate has come down to 1.28 per cent.
According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Friday morning, 1,31,968 new cases were registered in the country. With this, the number of infected has gone to one crore 30 lakh 60 thousand 542. At the same time, 61,899 patients have become healthy during this period, in which 1,19,13,292 patients have been coronated so far. Active cases have increased from 69,289 to 9,79,608. During the same period, the death toll from the disease has risen to 1,67,642 with 780 more patients dying.
Maharashtra tops Corona's active cases and the state has grown 19,780 active cases to 5,22,762 during the last 24 hours. During this period, 36,130 more patients became healthy in the state, which together the number of those who beat Corona has reached 2649757, while the death toll of 376 more patients has increased to 57028.
In Chhattisgarh, 9242 more active cases have increased to 68,126 in the last 24 hours. In the state, 334543 people have become corona free while the death toll has increased to 4563 with 94 more patients dying of infection with the epidemic. At the same time, according to population, active cases in the country's largest state Uttar Pradesh have increased to 7351 and 39338. 9003 people have died due to this epidemic and 606063 patients have become healthy so far. In the national capital Delhi, active cases have increased to 3726 on 23,181. So far, 11,157 people have died of this epidemic while 663667 patients have beaten the corona.
The active cases of corona virus in Karnataka have increased to 4141 and to 53,414. The death toll in the state has gone up to 12,767 and 973949 patients have been cured so far. In Kerala during this period, the number of active cases increased from 2130 to 33936 and the health of 2205 patients beating Corona has increased to 11 lakh 10 thousand 283 while the death toll of 18 more patients has increased to 4728.
In Punjab, the number of active cases has increased by 534 to 26389 and the number of people getting relief from infection has increased to 229367 while 7334 patients have lost their lives. The number of active cases in Tamil Nadu has increased to 30131 and so far 12840 people have died. 872415 patients have become infection free in the state. In Madhya Pradesh, 2,001 active cases have increased to 28060 and 290165 people have become healthy so far while 4113 people have died due to this disease. The active cases in Gujarat have increased to 1789 and 20473 and so far 4655 people have died. In the state, 307346 patients have been free of infection. In Haryana, the number of active cases has increased to 17129 with an increase of 1892 cases during this period. 3230 people have died due to this disease and so far 287151 people have been cured of the disease.
In West Bengal, active cases of corona virus have increased to 16,109 and 10370 people have died due to infection with this epidemic. So far, 576328 people have recovered in the state. Active cases have increased to 15472 in Telangana and 1746 people have died while 303964 people have recovered from the epidemic. The active cases have reached 14913 in Andhra Pradesh. In the state, the number of people who beat the corona virus has reached 893651 while 7268 people have lost their lives. The number of active cases in Bihar has increased from 1579 cases to 7505. In the state, 1595 people have died due to corona virus while 264730 patients have become healthy.
