New Delhi (Loksatya). In the second wave of Corona in the country, more than four lakh new cases have been reported in the last three days, whereas in the last 24 hours more than four thousand patients died of this disease, although 3.18 lakh people have also been healthy.
Meanwhile, on Friday, 22 lakh 97 thousand 257 people were vaccinated with Corona. So far 16 crore 73 lakh, 46 thousand 544 people have been vaccinated in the country.
According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday morning, with the arrival of 4,01,078 new cases in the country during the last 24 hours, the number of infected people has increased to two crore 18 lakh 92 thousand 676. Earlier, more than 4.12 lakh infections were reported on May 6 and 4.14 lakh infections on May 7.
Due to continuous increase in active cases, now their number has increased to 37 lakh 23 thousand 446. The recovery rate in the country has come down to 81.90 percent and the rate of active cases has increased to 17.01 percent, while the death rate is still 1.09 percent.
In the last 24 hours, three lakh 18 thousand 609 patients have become healthy, including one crore 79 lakh 30 thousand 960 people have beaten Corona so far. During the same period, 4187 patients lost their lives and the number of people who died of this disease has increased to 2,38,270.
In Maharashtra, their numbers have again risen after a decrease in active cases during the last four days. In the last 24 hours, the number of active cases in the state has increased by 15,738 to 6,57,019. During this period, the number of those who beat Corona has increased to 42,65,326 after the recovery of 37,386 more patients in the state, while the death toll has risen to 74,413 with the death of 898 more patients.
In Kerala, the number of active cases increased by 11,744 to 4,02,997 and the number of coroners outnumbered Corona has risen to 14,16,177 with 26,662 patients recovering while 54 more deaths have resulted in death toll of 5682.
In Karnataka, the maximum number of active cases of corona virus has increased by 19,566, taking their number to 5,36,661. The death toll has risen to 17,804 in the state and 12,84,420 patients have been cured so far.
In the national capital Delhi, active cases of corona have increased by 406 and their number has come down to 91,035. With the death of 341 more patients here, the death toll from this disease has increased to 18,739, while 11,83,093 patients have beaten the corona.
In Telangana, the number of active cases has reduced by 2543 to 71,308 while 2666 people have died while 4,13,225 people have recovered from this epidemic. The number of active cases in Andhra Pradesh has increased by 4366 to 1,86,695. The number of people who beat Corona in the state has gone up to 10,50,160 while 8519 people have lost their lives. The number of active cases in Tamil Nadu has increased by 3887 to 1,35,355 and so far 15,171 people have died. At the same time, 11,73,439 patients have become infection free.
Uttar Pradesh, the country’s largest state by population, has reduced 5726 active cases during the last 24 hours and now it has come down to 2,54,118. So far, 14,873 infected people have died due to this epidemic in the state and 11,84,688 patients have become healthy.
In Chhattisgarh, active cases of corona have come down by 204 to 1,31,041, while 6,88,918 people have become coronated, while 208 more patients have died due to the epidemic, increasing the death toll to 10,158. In Madhya Pradesh, the number of active cases has increased by 6809 to 94,423 and so far 5,47,447 people have become healthy while 6244 people have died due to this disease.
In Punjab, the number of active cases has increased from 3156 to 69,724 and the number of people who have got relief from infection has increased to 3,44,779 whereas 10,144 patients have lost their lives. In Gujarat, the number of active cases has reduced by 1140 to 1,46,385 and so far 8154 people have died. 5,03,497 patients have become infection free in the state. In Haryana, the number of active cases has increased by 121 to 1,15,963. In the state, 5299 people have died due to this epidemic and 4,66,420 people have been cured of the infection so far.
In West Bengal, the active cases of corona virus has increased by 1,324,098 from 1324 and 12,076 people have died due to infection with this epidemic. So far, 8,18,108 people have recovered in the state. The number of active cases in Bihar has come down to 85 to 1,15,067. So far, 3139 people have died due to corona virus in the state while 4,49,063 patients have become healthy.
