New Delhi (LokSatya). Corona virus (Kovid-19) epidemic active cases are decreasing rapidly in the country. During the last 24 hours, 30,776 active cases have come down and 1,576 patients lost their lives due to its infection. Meanwhile, 38 lakh 10 thousand 554 people were vaccinated against corona on Saturday. So far 27 crore 66 lakh 93 thousand 572 people have been vaccinated in the country.
According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Sunday morning, with the arrival of 58,419 new cases in the last 24 hours, the number of infected people increased to 2,98,81,965. During this, after the recovery of 87 thousand 619 patients, the total number of people who beat this epidemic has increased to two crore 87 lakh 66 thousand 009. Active cases have come down from 30 thousand 776 to seven lakh 29 thousand 243. Due to the death of 1,576 patients in the same period, the death toll has increased to three lakh 86 thousand 713.
The rate of active cases in the country has come down to 2.44 percent, the recovery rate has increased to 96.27 percent and the death rate has come down to 1.29 percent. In Maharashtra, their number has come down to 1,35,708 after the reduction in active cases to 2,143 in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, after the recovery of 10,373 more patients in the state, the number of corona-free people has increased to 57,10,356, while the death toll has increased to 1,17,356 due to the death of 682 more patients.
During this period in Kerala, the active cases have decreased by 817 and their number has now come down to 1,07,300 and due to the recovery of 13,145 patients, the number of people who beat Corona has increased to 26,78,499 while 115 more patients died due to death. The number has gone up to 11,948.
The active cases of corona virus in Karnataka have come down by 6,178 to 1,30,894. At the same time, the death toll of 161 more patients has increased to 3,3763. So far 26,37,279 patients have become healthy in the state. With the reduction of 73 active cases of corona in the national capital Delhi, their number has come down to 2,372. With the death of seven more patients here, the death toll from this disease has risen to 24,907. At the same time, 14,04,889 patients have defeated Corona.
Active cases in Telangana have come down by 461 to 18,568, while 3,556 people have died so far. At the same time, 5,90,072 people have been cured of this epidemic. Active cases in Andhra Pradesh stand at 65,244. The number of people who beat Corona in the state has gone up to 17,67,404 while 12,269 people have lost their lives. The number of active cases in Tamil Nadu has come down from 10,229 to 78,780 and the death toll has gone up to 31,015 with the death of 180 more patients. At the same time, 23,04,885 patients have become infection free.
In Uttar Pradesh, the country’s largest state by population, 386 active cases have come down during the last 24 hours and their number has now come down to 4,957. Due to the death of 51 more patients due to this epidemic in the state, the death toll has gone up to 22,132 and 16,77,050 patients have become healthy.
In Chhattisgarh, the active cases of corona have come down by 531 to 9531. At the same time, 9,67,415 people have become corona free, while the death toll has increased to 13,377 due to the death of nine more patients. In Madhya Pradesh, active cases have come down to 2442 by 285 and so far 7,77,995 people have become healthy while 8,737 people have died due to this disease. In Punjab, the active cases have come down by 752 to 8,087 and the number of people who have recovered from the infection has gone up to 5,67,883 while 15,802 patients have lost their lives. Active cases in Gujarat have come down by 651 to 6,579 and 10,028 people have died so far. At the same time, 8,05,542 patients have become infection free.
Active cases in Haryana have come down by 263 to 2,677. 9,216 people have died due to this epidemic in the state and so far 7,55,324 people have been cured of the infection. In West Bengal, the active cases of corona virus have increased by 322 to 23,013 and a total of 17,295 people have died due to the infection of this epidemic. So far 14,39,215 have recovered in the state.
Active cases in Bihar have come down by 152 to 3,396. The total death toll in the state has gone up to 9,543. 70,6461 patients have become healthy in the state. So far 8891 in Rajasthan, 7026 in Uttarakhand, 5099 in Jharkhand, 4238 in Jammu and Kashmir, 4178 in Assam, 3439 in Himachal Pradesh, 3550 in Odisha, 2984 in Goa, 1720 in Puducherry, 1039 in Manipur, Chandigarh 806, Meghalaya 776, Tripura 646, Nagaland 468, Sikkim 291, Ladakh 201, Arunachal Pradesh 159, Andaman and Nicobar Islands 127, Mizoram 81, Lakshadweep 46 and Dadar-Nagar Haveli and Daman Four people have died in Diu.
