New Delhi (Loksatya). The outbreak of the corona virus (Kovid-19) pandemic in the country is not taking its name and it is becoming increasingly severe day by day. More than 15.34 lakh cases of Karena have been reported in the country in a week. While the number of corona infects was more than 1.35 crore last Monday, the number of infected people has crossed 1.50 crore till this morning.
According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Monday morning, 2,73,810 new cases were registered in the country during the last 24 hours. With this, the number of infected has gone to one crore 50 lakh 16 thousand 919. At the same time, 1,29,38 patients have been cured by this epidemic, with 1,44,178 patients recovering during this period. Corona's active cases in the country have crossed 19 lakh to 19,29,329. In the same period, with the death of 1619 more patients, the number of those who died of this disease has increased to 1,78,769. While so far 12,38,52,566 people have been vaccinated by Corona.
The recovery rate in the country has come down to 86.00 percent and the rate of active cases has increased to 12.81 percent, but the death rate has come down to 1.19 percent. Maharashtra tops the active corona cases and the state has again increased by 22474 to 6,72,037 during the last 24 hours. During this period, 45,654 more patients recovered in the state, taking the number of those who beat Corona to 3,106,828, while the death toll has increased to 60,473 with the death of 503 more patients.
According to the population, in the country's largest state Uttar Pradesh, during this period, active cases have increased to 21,398 and 191457. So far, 9830 people have died due to this epidemic in the state and 6,50,333 patients have become healthy so far. Corona's active cases in the national capital Delhi have increased by 5,142 to 74,941. So far, 12,121 people have died of this epidemic while 7,66,398 patients have beaten the corona.
In the last 24 hours, active cases of corona virus have increased to 14,383 and 1,33,562 in Karnataka. The death toll in the state has gone up to 13,351 and so far 1,014,152 patients have recovered. In Chhattisgarh, the total number of corona has reduced to 1,28,019 due to a decrease of 2,381 in active cases. In the state, 4,10,913 people have become corona free while the death toll has risen to 5908 with 170 more patients dying of infection with the epidemic.
In Kerala, the number of active cases increased by 13,667 to 94,009 and out of 4,565 patients recovered, the figure of those who beat the corona has risen to 11,40,486, while the death of 25 more patients has increased to 4929.
In Punjab, the number of active cases has increased by 1,691 to 34,190 and the number of people getting rid of infection has increased to 2,57,946 while 7902 patients have died. The number of active cases has increased to 70,391 in Tamil Nadu and 13,113 people have died so far. In the state, 9,07,947 patients have become infection free. In Madhya Pradesh, active cases have increased to 68,576 and 3,34,947 people have become healthy so far while 4,557 people have died from the disease. In Gujarat, the number of active cases has increased to 61,647 and so far 5,377 people have died. In the state 3,37,545 patients have become infection free. In Haryana, the number of active cases has increased to 42,217 with 3,659 cases increasing during this period. 3,415 people have died due to the epidemic in the state and 3,11,339 people have been cured of the infection so far.
In West Bengal, active cases of corona virus have increased to 49,638 and 10,568 people have died due to infection with this epidemic. So far, 5,99,721 people have recovered in the state. Active cases have increased to 39,154 in Telangana and 1,838 people have died while 3,14,441 have recovered from the epidemic. In Andhra Pradesh, active cases have reached 44,686. In the state, the number of people who beat the corona virus has reached 9,09,941, while 7,410 people have lost their lives. In Bihar, active cases have increased to 44,701. So far 1749 people have died due to corona virus in the state while 2,77,667 patients have become healthy.
