The outbreak of Corona Virus (Kovid-19) epidemic in the country has been increasing and the death toll has reached close to 1.70 lakh due to the death of 839 Corona patients during the last 24 hours. The recovery rate in the country has come down partially to 90.44 percent and the rate of active cases has increased to 8.29 percent while the death rate has come down to 1.27 percent.
According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Sunday morning, 1,52,879 new cases were registered in the country. With this, the number of infected has gone to one crore 33 lakh 58 thousand 805. At the same time, 90,584 patients have become healthy during this period, in which 1,20,81,443 patients have been coronated so far. Active cases have increased from 61,456 to 11,08,087. In the same period, with the death of 838 more patients, the death toll from this disease has increased to 1,69,275.
Maharashtra tops the active corona cases and 2,097 active cases have increased to 5,38,160 during the last 24 hours in the state. During this period, 53,005 more patients became healthy in the state, taking the number of those who beat Corona to 2748153, while the death toll of 309 more patients has increased to 57638.
In Chhattisgarh, in the last 24 hours, 8992 and active cases have increased to 85,860. In the state 342139 people have become corona free while the death toll has risen to 4777 with 123 more patients dying of this epidemic infection. At the same time, according to population, the most active cases in the country's largest state Uttar Pradesh during this period have increased to 10,495 and 58801. 9085 people have died due to this epidemic and 608853 patients have become healthy so far. In the national capital Delhi, active cases have increased by 2142 to 28,773. So far, 11,235 people have died of this epidemic while 674415 patients have beaten the corona.
In Karnataka, the number of active cases of corona virus has increased to 3569 and to 61,672. The death toll in the state has gone up to 12,849 and 980519 patients have been cured so far. In Kerala, the number of active cases increased from 3593 cases to 40095 and with the recovery of 2584 patients, the figure of those who beat Corona has increased to 11 lakh 15 thousand 342 while the death toll of 17 more patients has increased to 4767.
In Punjab, the number of active cases has increased by 796 to 28015 and the number of people relieved from infection has increased to 234270 while 7448 patients have lost their lives. The number of active cases in Tamil Nadu has increased to 37673 and so far 12886 people have died. 876257 patients have become infection free in the state. In Madhya Pradesh, the number of active cases has increased to 32707 and so far 295339 people have become healthy while 4160 people have died due to this disease. In Gujarat, the number of active cases has increased to 25129 and so far 4746 people have died. 312151 patients have been infected in the state. In Haryana, the number of active cases has increased to 19453 with an increase of 1311 cases during this period. 3252 people have died due to this disease and 290736 people have been cured by the disease so far.
In West Bengal, active cases of corona virus have increased to 21366 and 10390 people have died due to infection with this epidemic. So far, 578742 people have recovered in the state. Active cases in Telangana have increased to 20184 and 1759 people have died while 305335 people have recovered from the epidemic. The active cases have reached 18666 in Andhra Pradesh. In the state, the number of people who beat the corona virus has reached 895949, while 7291 people have lost their lives. The number of active cases in Bihar has increased to 11999. In the state, 1604 people have died due to corona virus while 265870 patients have become healthy.
