The outbreak of Corona Virus (Kovid-19) epidemic in the country is increasing and during the last 24 hours, about 1.62 lakh new cases have been registered in different parts of the country. The recovery rate in the country has come down to 89.51 percent and the rate of active cases has gone up to 9.24 percent, while the death rate has come down to 1.25 percent.
According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Tuesday morning, 1,61,736 new cases were reported in the country during the last 24 hours. With this, the number of infected has gone to one crore 36 lakh 89 thousand 453. At the same time, 97,168 patients have been healthy during this period, including 1,22,53,697 patients who have been coronated so far. The number of active cases has increased to 12,64,698. With the death of 879 more patients in the same period, the death toll from the disease has increased to 1,71,058.
Maharashtra tops the active corona cases and the state has reduced its number of active cases by 819 to 5,66,278 during the last 24 hours. During this period, 52312 more patients became healthy in the state, which together the number of those who beat Corona has reached 2834473, while the death toll of 258 more patients has increased to 58245.
In Chhattisgarh, 8579 more active cases have increased to 98,856 in the last 24 hours. 3,52,986 people have become corona-free in the state while the death toll has reached 5031 with 132 more patients dying of the epidemic infection. At the same time, according to population, the largest number of active cases in the country's largest state Uttar Pradesh has increased to 10,335 and 81, 576 during this period. 9224 people have died due to this epidemic and 614819 patients have become healthy so far. In the national capital Delhi, active cases have increased from 3754 to 38095. So far, 11,355 people have died of this epidemic while 687238 patients have beaten the corona.
In Karnataka, the number of active cases of corona virus has increased to 6760 and 76004. The death toll in the state has risen to 12941 and 985924 patients have been cured so far. In Kerala, the number of active cases increased by 3207 cases to 47914 during this period and the number of those who beat Corona has increased to 11 lakh 20 thousand 174 due to the recovery of 2474 patients while the death toll of 11 more patients has increased to 47944.
In Punjab, the number of active cases has come down to 27866 and the number of people getting relief from infection has come down to 240798 while 7559 patients have lost their lives. The number of active cases in Tamil Nadu has increased to 46308 and so far 12927 people have died. There are 880910 patients infection free in the state. In Madhya Pradesh, the number of active cases has increased to 38651 and 301762 people have become healthy so far while 4221 people have died due to this disease. In Gujarat, the number of active cases has increased to 30680 and so far 4855 people have died. In the state, 317981 patients have been freed from infection. In Haryana, the number of active cases has increased to 22487 with an increase of 1506 cases during this period. 3282 people have died due to this disease and so far 294930 people have been cured of the disease.
In West Bengal, active cases of corona virus have increased to 26531 and 10414 people have died due to infection with this epidemic. So far, 582462 people have recovered in the state. Active cases in Telangana have increased to 24131 and 1772 people have died while 306678 people have recovered from the epidemic. In Andhra Pradesh, active cases have reached 23115. In the state, the number of people who beat the corona virus has reached 898238 while 7311 people have lost their lives. The active cases have increased to 17053 in Bihar. Corona virus has killed 1616 people in the state while 267559 patients have recovered.
