The outbreak of Corona Virus (Kovid-19) epidemic is increasing in the country and 1.84 lakh new cases have been registered in different parts of the country during the last 24 hours. The recovery rate in the country has come down to 88.92 percent and the rate of active cases has gone up to 9.84 percent, while the death rate has come down to 1.24 percent.
According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Wednesday morning, 1,84,372 new cases were registered in the country during the last 24 hours. With this, the number of infected has gone to one crore 38 lakh 73 thousand 825. At the same time, 82,339 patients have become healthy during this period, in which 1,23,36,036 patients have been corona free so far. The active cases of corona in the country have crossed 13 lakh to 13,65,704. During the same period, the death toll from the disease has increased to 1,72,085 with the death of 1027 more patients.
Maharashtra is at the top of Corona's active cases and the state has increased its number of active cases by 28,307 to 5,94,585 during the last 24 hours. During this period, 31,624 more patients became healthy in the state, taking the number of those who beat Corona has reached 28,66,097, while the death toll of 281 more patients has increased to 58,526.
In Chhattisgarh, in the last 24 hours, active cases of corona have increased from 10,283 and one lakh to 1,09,139. In the state, 3,57,668 people have become corona free while the death toll has increased to 5187 with 156 more patients dying of infection with the epidemic. At the same time, in the country's largest state Uttar Pradesh, during this period, active cases have increased to 14,404 and 95,980. So far 9309 people have died due to this epidemic in the state and 6,18,293 patients have been healthy so far. In the national capital Delhi, active cases of corona have increased by 5415 to 43,510. So far, 11,436 people have died of this epidemic while 695210 patients have beaten the corona.
In Karnataka, the number of active cases of corona virus has increased to 2632 and 78636. The death toll in the state has risen to 13008 and 9,92,003 patients have recovered so far. In Kerala, the number of active cases increased by 4536 to 52450 and 2959.
The number of patients who beat Corona has increased to 11 lakh 23 thousand 133, while the death of 20 more patients has increased to 4814.
In Punjab, the number of active cases has increased by 318 to 28,184 and the number of people who have got infection has increased to 2,43,410 whereas 7609 patients have lost their lives. The number of active cases in Tamil Nadu has increased to 49,985 and so far 12945 people have died. 8,84,199 patients have become infection free in the state. In Madhya Pradesh, the number of active cases has increased to 43,539 and 3,05,832 people have become healthy so far while 4261 people have died due to this disease. In Gujarat, the number of active cases has increased to 34555 and so far 4922 people have died. In the state, 3,20,729 patients have become infection free. In Haryana, the number of active cases has increased to 24,207 with an increase of 1720 cases during this period. 3298 people have died due to the epidemic in the state and 2,97,039 people have been cured of the infection so far.
In West Bengal, active cases of corona virus have increased to 29050 and 10434 people have died due to infection with this epidemic. So far, 584740 people have recovered in the state. Active cases have increased to 25459 in Telangana and 1780 people have died while 307499 people have recovered from this epidemic. The active cases have reached 25850 in Andhra Pradesh. In the state, the number of people who beat the corona virus has reached 899721 while 7321 people have lost their lives. The number of active cases in Bihar has increased to 20149. In the state, 1630 people have died due to corona virus while 268606 patients have become healthy.
