After the meeting of the Chief Ministers of the states with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the past, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued the order and said that the restrictions should be imposed according to the situation in their respective states. After which, after Maharashtra, now the Government of Gujarat has issued guidelines.
The Gujarat government has issued guidelines regarding prevention of Holi and Corona. The government, while issuing the order, said that Holi can be traditionally celebrated with limited customs. There will be a ban on public celebrations and crowded events on the color day. There will be no crowd of any kind.
The government said that Holika Dahan is allowed. But all the events of playing Holi will be banned. On Tuesday, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued guidelines to stop Kovid-19 in the country. Which will be applicable from April 1 to April 30. The ministry said that states and union territories will have to strictly follow the test-track-treat protocol. Everybody has to follow these rules.
