The wife of former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has given a taunting reply on Twitter to the personal attacks by Nawab Malik regarding the drugs case. Amrita Fadnavis took a jibe at Nawab Malik and said that his only aim is to save the deposits and black money. Amrita tweeted, ‘The spoiled Nawab called – press conference at press conference, press conference at press conference. But every time we told the same things of lies and deceit. Their goal is only one, my brother – they have to save their deposits and black money!’ Earlier, Devendra Fadnavis had also said about Nawab Malik that he is restless over his son-in-law being trapped and is making allegations only because of that.

Not only this, he had claimed that ganja was also recovered from the son-in-law of Nawab Malik. Let us inform that Nawab Malik has personally attacked Devendra Fadnavis and NCB officer Sameer Wankhede by holding a press conference regarding drugs. Not only this, Malik had also attacked Amrita Fadnavis in one of his press conferences last week. He had said that the finance head of a song by Amrita Fadnavis was drug peddler Jaideep Rana. On this, Devendra Fadnavis had reacted sharply and said that he had made a mistake by making a personal attack and now the matter will go far.

However, even after this, the round of personal attacks between Devendra Fadnavis and Nawab Malik continues. On Wednesday, once again Nawab Malik said in a conversation with the media that there was a business of counterfeit notes during the tenure of Devendra Fadnavis as CM. He said that after demonetisation, no such cases were found in Maharashtra where counterfeit notes were caught. The reason for this was that the racket of counterfeit notes is going on. Meanwhile, Devendra Fadnavis has made a tweet, which is being linked to Nawab Malik. Fadnavis has tweeted lines by famous Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw. It translates as, ‘Today’s thought, I learned a long time ago, is never to fight a pig. It will get you dirty but the pig will love it.’
