Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was on stage at the election rally
BJP leader Bharat Dangar told a news channel, “The chief minister became restless while addressing a public meeting. He was caught by his security guards while he was reading. He was given first aid.”
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was on the stage when he addressed a public meeting in the Vadodara Nizampura area of the Vhodora Municipal Corporation elections on Sunday. BJP leaders said Rupani was given first aid on stage. Later he himself came down the stairs of the stage. This was Rupani’s third political rally during the day. BJP leader Bharat Dangar told a news channel, “The chief minister became restless while addressing a public meeting. He was caught by his security guards while he was reading. He was given first aid.”
He said Rupani would be taken to a hospital in Ahmedabad. “Rupani has not been in good health for the last two days. Instead of canceling her public meetings in Jamnagar on Saturday and Vadodara on Sunday, she decided to hold public meetings,” Dangar said.
Elections for six municipal corporations, including Vhodora, will be held on February 21 and elections for municipalities, districts and upazila panchayats will be held on February 28.
