Former NDTV news anchor Nidhi Rajdan has become a victim of cyber crime. He became a victim of cyber fraud when he designed NDTV in June 2020. In January 2021, a post was posted on social media to join the Department of Journalism at Harvard University in the United States as an Associate Professor. But he can talk to senior Harvard University officials about cybercrime. The news anchor also now fears misuse of his personal documents in this regard. He has now lodged a complaint with the police.
In June 2020, news anchor Nidhi Rajdan announced on social media that he had got a job as an associate professor at Harvard University. So he is leaving NDTV job and taking new responsibility. “In January 2020, I left NDTV for 21 years and said I was going to join Harvard University as an associate professor of journalism,” Nidhi wrote in a tweet. I was told that I would be joining the university in September 2020. As I was preparing for my new assignment, I was informed that my classes would begin in January 2021 because of the epidemic.
TV anchor Nidhi Rajdan wrote in this tweet that it was said to join in early September. Because of Corona, however, it seemed to be delayed. After that, there was talk of joining in January 2021. In the meantime, I repeatedly felt that something was wrong, so I contacted Harvard University senior officials directly to explain the situation. After that, at his request, I shared with him all the contacts the university sent me.
After seeing this, ‘the university ultimately refused any such offer. After that, I found out that I was a victim of very successful cyber phishing. Because I didn’t get any offer from Harvard University to be his faculty of journalism. However, for this offer, I have also sent all the necessary documents related to me to the cyber criminal. There is a risk of their abuse in such a situation. Therefore, I have requested the police to identify such fraudsters as soon as possible. I have also appealed to Harvard University officials to take the matter seriously.
