Jagmohan, former Union Minister and Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, died on Monday at the age of 93. He was ill for some time. Several leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, paid tribute to him on Tuesday.

Jagmohan started his career as a bureaucrat and was seen as a strict and efficient administrator. He also served as the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. In the year 1984, he was appointed as the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir. He was the fifth Governor of Jammu and Kashmir. His full name was Jagmohan Malhotra.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also mourned his death and said that his tenure as the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir will always be remembered.
